(BP) – Just days after devastating storms hit the Midwest earlier this week, Southern Baptists have mobilized to help homeowners and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the impacted areas. Churches cooperate to bring free camp to teens

EDITOR'S NOTE/UPDATE: Kirk Baker, Director of Missions for the Spring River Baptist Association, told The Pathway on May 28th that the congregation at Zion Baptist here voted earlier this year to close the doors of the church (for reasons unrelated to the tornado), though The Pathway does not have a precise date for the closure. JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Baptist Convention staff member Tony Boes huddled in the basement with his wife and children after 11:00 p.m. last night, May 22, as a tornado passed by their home. Walkathon to send Scripture to the Philippines
KANSAS CITY – A thoughtful gift of a Bible in the Ilnnoggo language to a missionary friend multiplied into thousands of Bibles for the Philippines. Bill Barker, member of Country Meadows Baptist Church, gave that gift to his college friend and her husband, Gwinda and Eric Fors.
