Mission team targets one of America’s most dangerous areas
CHICAGO – An 8-member mission team from Springhill Baptist Church, Springfield, carried the gospel to one of the nation’s most dangerous communities last month. The team partnered with Good Hope Baptist Church in Englewood, one of the 77 official communities of Chicago – a city with only one church per 31,791 people. Fayette school district settles prayer suit
FAYETTE – The Fayette R-III School District has agreed in federal court to change policies regarding the religious expression of teachers and school district staff. The move comes as a result of a suit brought by the American Humanist Association on behalf of a former student.
