JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) Executive Board adopted a Cooperative Program (CP) budget goal for 2014 of $14.5 million with a “40-60” focus during its April 8-9 meeting here at the Baptist Building. DR crews provide response after Hazelwood tornado
HAZELWOOD – Three weeks into the spring storm season, an April 10 tornado destroyed 12 homes and damaged another 60, prompting the first DR call-out of the year. “We’ve been busy,” said Dwain Carter, Director of Disaster Relief for the Missouri Baptist Convention. Disaster Relief Volunteers from churches around the state have assessed 92 different job sites, and completed work on 84 properties. Credentials Committee continues restoration process
JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) Credentials Committee met March 27, their first since election last October. During the meeting the members received the list of 55 churches that are longer members of the MBC.
