Missouri Baptist Pathway Editor: ‘The government got it wrong with Dred Scott’
For reconciliation to be realized, the offending party must acknowledge one’s wrongdoing, stop doing it and ask the offended party for forgiveness. The offended party must then forgive. Of course, God made forgiveness an infinitely important ingredient by offering sinners grace – and the gift of eternal life through the penal substitutionary death of Jesus on Golgotha’s Hill. I pray that God’s example will inspire the government of Missouri to move the state forward as we strive for racial … [Read more...]

In doing so, they helped to commemorate the death of Christ during the church’s Good Friday service, March 30. But their participation in this service also puts on display the congregation’s efforts to raise up men who can lead the church as it labors to transform lives with the gospel. With only three conservative … [Read more...]
FBC Neosho shares gospel using bobcat
NEOSHO – Venison is a staple at many Missouri Baptist churches’ pot lucks. Elk, wild hog or gator might be a little less common, but those meats are still far from exotic. But serving up bobcat is a new culinary experience for most Missouri Baptist cooks. Unless, of course, that church is First Baptist, Neosho. As part of its 8th annual Sportsman’s Banquet, the church hosted a wild game dinner across two nights in March. Jimmy Holbrook, a pastor and trophy hunter based in Kansas City spoke … [Read more...]
