MMO giving exceeds 2020 goal despite COVID-19
JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Baptists refused to let COVID-19 slow their passion for missions. Despite the challenges of sheltering in place, “virtual” worship services, social distancing, and the temporary banishment of the offering plate, Missouri Baptists exceeded the goal for the Rheubin L. South Missouri Missions Offering (MMO), contributing $736,628 in 2020. MBC to launch stewardship journal in January 2021

Camp reaches out to deaf youth

DESLOGE – The Upward Sports leagues sponsored by First Baptist, Desloge, stepped up to help the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home this Christmas. ROACH – Firefighters were dispatched to the Windermere Baptist Conference Center here at 5:07 a.m., Dec. 23, as flames engulfed a "structure" attached to the campground’s main dining hall, according to Fire Chief Scott Frandsen of the Mid-County Fire Protection District (MCFPD).
