OAK GROVE – First Baptist Church, Oak Grove, distributed 3,000 “Find it Here” New Testaments to their community under the leadership of Pastor Randy Messer. Messer shared this vision with nearby Grace Baptist, and together the churches mobilized a number of distribution teams. Prayer lawsuit filed against Fayette school
FAYETTE – Voluntary prayer in schools is under attack in the central Missouri town of Fayette. The American Humanist Association (AHA), a progressive group that actively lobbies for separation of church and state, filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri claiming the prayer sessions held at Fayette High School violated students’ constitutional rights. Bismarck – The congregation of First Baptist Church here has been keeping busy. For the second year in a row, they participated in EPIC Outreach, a four-day community-wide ministry project.
