JEFFERSON CITY – According to MBC bylaws, resolutions for the MBC Annual Meeting must be submitted in writing to the Committee on Resolutions at least 60 days prior to the first session of the annual meeting. The deadline is Aug. 28. The annual meeting is October 28-29 at the Branson Convention Center. Persons submitting resolutions must certify that they are messengers. SBU begins search for new Redford College dean
BOLIVAR, Mo. — Southwest Baptist University begins its search this month for the next dean of the University’s Redford College of Theology and Ministry. Rodney Reeves, who has served on the SBU faculty for 19 years, 15 of those years as College dean, has resigned to serve as senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ark. Forty-one students saved at MBC’s Super Summer
BOLIVAR, HANNIBAL – Forty-one students from around the state professed faith in Christ during two separate weeks of Super Summer, organized by the Missouri Baptist Convention and hosted by Southwest Baptist University and Hannibal-LaGrange University, June 10-14 and June 17-21. Additionally, 52 youth surrendered to the ministry, and 43 recommitted their lives to Christ.
