Miller calls for new kind of conference
SOUIX CITY, Iowa – David Miller, pastor of Southern Hills Baptist Church was elected the president of the SBC Pastor’s Conference, June 13. An unusual move, because of the relative small size of the Sioux City church, the vote signals a willingness to try some new directions with the traditional preaching conference that precedes the SBC Annual meeting. NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Half of Protestant pastors say their colleagues should step down from the pulpit for a time if they are accused of misconduct.
