LONG LANE – Pisgah Baptist Church is in a community that could be described as “a wide spot in the road.” But that doesn’t stop them from being a vibrant and active Baptist church. Saginaw baptizes 19 despite pandemic
SAGINAW – While most churches across Missouri have likely seen a decrease in baptisms since the pandemic swept the nation last year, that’s simply not been the case for Saginaw Baptist Church. “We had 19 baptisms in the last year,” said Saginaw’s pastor, Keith Wilson. “And the week after Easter we are planning to do three more.” Wilson has served bi-vocationally at Saginaw for the last two years and in that time has seen an increase from about ten faithful attenders to now over 40. CALIFORNIA – The First Baptist Church was the site for the Concord Baptist Association annual wild game supper, March 12. ST. LOUIS – The real treasure at the “Journey of Hope” geocaching event was walking the last week of Jesus. The Easter weekend event at Fellowship of Wildwood, St. Louis, offered a safe, social distancing opportunity to share the gospel.
