IRONTON — The Baptist Home board unanimously voted February 26, 2019 to cease further appeals in the 17-year civil case over the issue of governance. The board action to not appeal ends one of the longest civil cases in Missouri jurisprudence. ‘Audacious giving’ – MMO receipts highest since 2000
JEFFERSON CITY – Total Missouri Missions Offering receipts for 2018, which are disbursed in 2019, shattered the goal of $710,000 by 11 percent and outpaced 2017 gifts of $759,920, thus reaching a level not seen since 2000. Further, this marks the sixth straight year of MMO giving above $700,000. Seven hundred ninety-four Missouri Baptist congregations contributed to MMO in 2018, up from 778 the previous year.
