Missouri’s Easter Offering goal set at $2 million
JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Baptist Convention has set a goal of $2 million for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American missions. The national offering goal is $70 million. Midwest flooding prompts DR response
JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers are responding to floods that are wreaking havoc in Northwest Missouri and across the Midwest. Even before Missouri Gov. Mike Parson declared a state of emergency, March 21, Missouri DR workers were on the field in St. Joseph, where they helped with sandbagging to prepare for increased flooding. JEFFERSON CITY – Gene Austin, who has helped Missouri Baptists gain an active presence on 23 Missouri campuses, has been named director of the MBC’s collegiate ministries.
