Teens accept Christ at European camp led by Baptist students
July 31, 2002 LENK, Switzerland (BP) — A group of 22 students from Hannibal-LaGrange College recently returned from Europe where they challenged teenagers to "Cross Barriers" July 4-12 in Lenk, Switzerland. Youth from 18 different countries attended the six-day camp sponsored by the European Baptist Convention. More than 250 youth and leaders were in attendance. Cooperative Program gifts up for July, still down for ’02
July 24, 2002 Reversing a year-long trend, Missouri Baptists’ gifts through the Cooperative Program rose by nearly $100,000 in July, the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) announced Aug. 1 Churches gave $1,454,111 in July compared to $1,355,152 for July 2001. The increased giving in July snaps a string of two straight months in which CP gifts dropped below last year’s pace. July 17, 2002 BOLIVAR -- Jack Stanton, who was just as excited to preach the Gospel to a rural congregation of 15 as he was to the throngs he faced while filling pulpits for W.A. Criswell and R.G. Mississippi volunteers begin renovations at Midwestern Seminary
July 17, 2002 More than 30 volunteers from Simpson Baptist Association in Mississippi began renovations on the Midwestern Seminary campus June 22-28. The team was one of the first ones to do volunteer work on campus this summer as part of a partnership between the seminary and the Mississippi Baptist Convention.
