TAYLORSVILLE, Ky. (BP) – A Kentucky Baptist pastor unearthed a real treasure in the church office on Oct. 26. Pastor Chance McConnell had heard about the photograph from 1953 of the late Rev. Churches with PPP loans should benefit from law fix

WASHINGTON (BP) – President Donald Trump signed legislation June 5 to make it easier for businesses or churches struggling during the coronavirus pandemic to take advantage of a payroll subsidy program that's been a critical part of Washington's response to the economic crisis. HLGU asks U.S. Department of Education for protection from unconstitutional mandate 

Hannibal-LaGrange University

Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU), affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) since 1857, has formally requested a religious accommodation from the U.S. Department of Education from a Biden-era regulation, 34 CFR §668.14. Without timely action by the Department, the university intends to file a lawsuit seeking relief to safeguard its religious freedoms.
