Executive Board rescinds Windermere prohibition
JEFFERSON CITY – During their March 3 meeting here, Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) executive board members rescinded a previous board decision that prohibited MBC staff from using the Windermere Baptist Conference Center (WBCC). The Baptist Home enacts visitor restrictions amid COVID-19 outbreak
IRONTON – Since the first reports of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) came out in early January, The Baptist Home has been monitoring the situation. In early March, The Home issued its first response by recommending that all visitors and staff stay home if they were sick or experiencing flu-like symptoms. Churches asked to fill sandbags, join flood fight sandbags
JEFFERSON CITY – The waters have not yet begun to rise, but Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief leaders are asking churches and groups to join in on the flood fight. IRONTON – The Baptist Home Corporate Office implemented the adoption of a revised Statement of Faith on Feb. 3, 2020. The revised statement, The Baptist Faith & Message 2000, was approved by the Home’s Board of Trustees in April 2019.
