MMO giving continues to rise
State-wide offering tops $700,000 as of Dec. 17

JEFFERSON CITY – Giving to the Rheubin L. South Missouri Missions Offering (MMO) has topped the $700,000 mark and is close to surpassing the total amount of giving for all of last year.
As of Dec. 17, receipts were at $702,021.09, which was considerably ahead of the pace set in 2003 and tangibly closer to achieving the goal for 2004 of $750,000. At the same time last year, the offering was at $679,911.10.
The total amount raised in 2003 was $707,059.
Most of the MMO money being raised will go toward missions, church planting, compassion ministries and evangelism in the 2005 MBC budget.
