Missouri WMU stirs up joy at annual mission celebration

Celebrating the joy of the Lord was the focus of the annual mission celebration sponsored by Missouri WMU (MWMU).

R.A. Congress brings faith, fun to grade-school boys

Boys in grades 1-6, along with leaders and volunteers, came from Missouri Baptist churches across the state and gathered at the Missouri State Fairgrounds for a fun-filled R.A. Congress, which showcased activities boys love along with showing them how to live on mission with God.

MWMU Mission Celebration spreads the joy of Christ

Joy was evident at this year’s MWMU Mission Celebration held at Kirksville Baptist Church. Through worship, missionary speakers, basket auction, a commissioning service and more we celebrated all that God is doing through Missouri WMU and experienced His unmeasurable joy.

IMB missionary kids re-entry retreat comes to Missouri

Imagine growing up in another country with different customs, languages and cultures, and then coming to the United States to go to college. Our International Misson Board (IMB) missionary kids (MKs) do this every year. Thankfully, because of our cooperative efforts, the IMB pours into these students annually at the MK Re-entry Retreat. This year, Missouri WMU sponsored the event at Encounter Cove (formerly, Windermere).

Missouri R.A. Congress connects boys to Christ

What do a magician, pine cars, archery, a sleepless night and missions have in common? R.A. Congress. This year, more than 180 boys (in grades 1-6), their leaders and volunteers gathered at the Missouri State Fairgrounds for a fun, event-filled weekend, which showcased activities boys love along with showing them how to live on mission with God.
