R.A. Congress brings faith, fun to grade-school boys

SEDALIA – Boys in grades 1-6, along with leaders and volunteers, came from Missouri Baptist churches across the state and gathered at the Missouri State Fairgrounds for a fun-filled R.A. IMB missionary kids re-entry retreat comes to Missouri

ROACH – Imagine growing up in another country with different customs, languages and cultures, and then coming to the United States to go to college. Our International Misson Board (IMB) missionary kids (MKs) do this every year. Thankfully, because of our cooperative efforts, the IMB pours into these students annually at the MK Re-entry Retreat. Missouri R.A. Congress connects boys to Christ

SEDALIA (MWMU) – What do a magician, pine cars, archery, a sleepless night and missions have in  common? R.A. Congress. This year, more than 180 boys (in grades 1-6), their leaders and volunteers gathered at the Missouri State Fairgrounds for a fun, event-filled weekend, which showcased activities boys love along with showing them how to live on mission with God. MWMU celebrates missions in Warrensburg

WARRENSBURG – “Hope in Christ” was the theme of Missouri WMU’s Mission Celebration held, April 5-6, at First Baptist, Warrensburg. With over 220 in attendance, the weekend was packed with missionary testimonies, outreach opportunities, breakout sessions, raffle baskets and more. In a sweeping First Amendment decision issued March 31, the United States Supreme Court removed a virtual gag on free speech which the state of Colorado had imposed on Christian counselors when talking to minors about their sexuality. The Chiles decision has immediate implications beyond Colorado—including within the state of Missouri.
