(BP) – Eleanor Gorin, born March 5, 1921, grew up in the first house built on Cherokee Road in Louisville and received Christ after meeting the famous Holocaust survivor Corrie Ten Boom. Faber hired as MBC legislative liaison
JEFFERSON CITY – Timothy Faber, director of missions for the Lake of the Ozarks Baptist Association, has accepted the position of legislative liaison for the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC). In the role, he will advocate for the concerns of MBC churches at the state Capitol. For 40 years, Faber has served Southern Baptist churches, both as a pastor and through associational ministry. NEW LONDON – The Wooten family has participated in living nativities, supplying animals from their farm, at other churches for several years. HANNIBAL – Across Missouri and the United States, churches began promoting the Week of Prayer for International Missions and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering in November. They set goals for their Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and plan the best visuals to use as the church strives to meet that goal. JEFFERSON CITY – Last fall, an eyeglass ministry founded roughly 13 years ago by Concord Baptist Church members here celebrated 60,000 lives in central and southern Mexico impacted during the ministry’s history. FBC Lowry City holds game dinner
LOWRY CITY – The First Baptist Church here held its fifth Wild Game Dinner and Sportsman’s Extravaganza Sat., Oct. 15, with over 450 in attendance.
