Professor Carl Esbeck, U of Missouri Law School, religious liberty specialist … supports it!
Professor Carl Esbeck of the University of Missouri Law School is a legal scholar, a constitutional specialist and expert on our eroding religious liberty. Professor Esbeck embraces the wisdom of supporting Missouri Senate Joint Resolution (SJR) 39, in the Missouri House of Representatives … which is pending in the Missouri House … as of this writing!
His impressive credentials are found by clicking on …http://law.missouri.edu/about/people/esbeck/
In this brief time of radio Professor Esbeck provides tremendous insights on this proposed Missouri Constitutional amendment which – if approved by the House of Representatives and then a vote of the people later this year — would become an amendment to our Missouri Constitution. Thus we would have improved protection against attacks on religious liberty … attacks that have already begun.
It is important that obeying Jesus Christ is so very much more than being politically correct. When asked about marriage, Jesus taught in Matthew 19:4-6 [paraphrase]: “Haven’t you read in the book of Genesis? God made them male and female. A man [one man] shall leave his parents and marry a woman [one woman]. Thus the two shall become one flesh.” (Again, paraphrase)
This is important radio content Professor Esbeck provides with powerful insights.
Concerned citizen are asking: “What can I do to protect religious liberty?”
- Call your representative in the Mo House of Representatives and …
- Request his/her vote for SJR 39 in behalf of religious liberty … without amendments! (placing amendments on the SJR 39 will require that it go back to the Mo Senate …and we will run out of time….)
- How do I find who my representative is?
- Click on http://www.house.mo.gov/legislatorlookup.aspx and place in your zip code or address in the “search” box
When our son David Hendrick worked for a time as an administrative assistant to a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, he learned that just a few calls or emails on any given subject would get the attention of the legislator.
Remember … in the days of Roman power, Christians who wouldn’t “go along” with pagan and unbiblical practices were fed to the lions as lions’ food. Isis beheads Christians for not caving in to reject Jesus.
Now we live in this day of promoting “same-sex” political correctness. For those of us who desire to follow Jesus Christ and his teachings — who refuse to be complicit in opposition to his teachings on marriage (Matthew 19:4-6) – ways are frequently being used to destroy Christians economically, financially!
Be sure to hear Professor Carl Esbeck in the second brief segment of radio soon … which may even be more revealing than this first one.
