WMU meeting set for April

March 11, 2015 By The Pathway

ST. CHARLES – The Missouri WMU Missions Celebration and Annual Meeting will be held at First Baptist Church here, April 10-11.

Those who register to attend the meeting by March 25 will be charged a registration fee of $30 per person. After that date, the fee goes up to $40.

The meeting’s theme is “All for You: Surrender, Sacrifice, Serve.” National WMU Executive Director Wanda Lee will bring the theme interpretations during general worship sessions at the meeting.

Other featured speakers will include International Mission Board missionaries Don and Diane Combs, who serve in Russia, as well as Noah Oldham, the North American Mission Board’s (NAMB) SEND City Coordinator in St. Louis, and Rob Phillips, the Missouri Baptist Convention’s communications team leader and a NAMB certified apologist.

Throughout the weekend, participants at the meeting will be able to attend breakouts for WMU age-level training, as well many general interest breakouts. During the meeting, items will also be collected for the Buckets of Love project; participants will have the opportunity to help pack the buckets during breakout times.
