Two dozen with Missouri ties graduate from Midwestern

KANSAS CITY – Among those graduating from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary May 21 were 25 students with Missouri ties. They included:
Ken Chapman, a doctor of ministry degree. Chapman is senior pastor, South Liberty Baptist Church, Liberty.
Jeff Funderburk, received a doctor of ministry degree. Funderburk currently serves as pastor, First Baptist Church, Garden City.
Jeffery L. Paul, a doctor of ministry degree. Paul currently serves as pastor, First Baptist Church, Archie.
Richard Linn Smith, a doctor of ministry degree. Smith currently serves as director of missions, Charleston Baptist Association, Benton.
Trevor Yoakum, a doctor of ministry degree. He currently serves as pastor, East Sedalia Baptist Church, Sedalia.
Victor Chibangula, a master of divinity degree and a master’s of art degree in Biblical Languages.
Douglas Jay Osborn, a master of divinity degree. Osborn currently serves as student pastor, First Baptist Church, Ellisville. He will be returning to the First Baptist Church, Poplar Bluff as the student pastor.
Bill L. Roper, a master’s of art degree in Counseling. He currently serves as the marriage and family counselor, Holy Hill Baptist Church, Blue Springs. He also has a counseling ministry at Trinity Temple in Grandview.
Patricia “Diane” Waisner, a master’s of art degree in counseling.
Gordon Sidwell, a master’s of art degree in Christian education. Sidwell currently serves as associate pastor of worship and education, Providence Baptist Church, Kansas City.
Jerry L. Cooper, a master of divinity degree with an emphasis in church planting. Cooper currently serves as interim pastor, First Baptist Church, Bates City.
Katsiaryna Murziankova Malinouski, a master’s of art degree in church music. Malinouski currently serves as a pianist for Rockwood Baptist Church, Independence.
Jeffery Scott Class, a master of divinity degree with an emphasis in youth ministry.
Reva P. Hake, a master’s of art degree in counseling. Hake currently serves as a team missionary with the North American Mission Board, the Kansas-Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists and the Kaw Valley Association in the Nehemiah Church Planting Category to De Soto, Kan.
Jason Edward Lowe, a master of divinity degree. Lowe currently serves as youth director, First Calvary Baptist Church, Kansas City.
Francis V. Darko, a master of divinity degree and a master’s of art degree in counseling. He currently serves as a deacon, teacher and chaplain for Parkhill Baptist Church, Parkville.
Michael Lee Ferris, a master of divinity degree. He currently serves as youth coordinator for the City Union Mission in Kansas City.
Brian Parrish, a master of divinity degree. He currently serves as associate pastor of outreach and worship, Roanoke Baptist Church, Kansas City.
Donald “Deak” Huffman, a master of divinity degree. He currently serves at the West County Community Church in Wildwood.
Eric C. Moore, a master of divinity degree.
Brent Thies, a master of divinity degree. Thies currently serves as associate pastor of students, Faith Baptist Church, Festus.
Daniel N. Lindley, an associate of divinity degree. He currently serves as pastor, Elmira Baptist Church, Lawson.
Jeremy William Redhair, an associate of divinity degree. Redhair currently serves as a deacon at Lawson Baptist Church, Lawson.
Ted Yoder, associate of arts degree in church music. Yoder currently serves as minister of music, First Calvary Baptist Church, Kansas City.
