Surveying the MBC’s Collegiate Ministry presence

By Matt Kearns

God is doing amazing things on college and university campuses all across Missouri. Please be in prayer for all of our campus missionaries/BSU directors as they minister among the second largest unreached people group in the United States.

If you have questions about Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) Collegiate Ministry in any of these locations, please feel free to contact the personnel you see listed here. Pray that God will continue to send men and women to serve as missionaries in these and other locations . Many of them work not only in partnership with the MBC Student Ministry Team, but also with the North American Mission Board, as well as local churches and associations.

These men and women are on the “front lines” of ministry with the next generation. Please pray that God would empower them. Pray for His Spirit to be “unleashed” among the 18-25 year-olds of Missouri – whether they are in college, on the job, in the military, or elsewhere. Pray for the work on campuses and in local churches. Pray for opportunities among international students, commuter students, and non-traditional students.

Thanks for your prayer, encouragement, and giving which makes this ministry/missionary effort possible. It is making a difference.

HLGU asks U.S. Department of Education for protection from unconstitutional mandate

Hannibal-LaGrange University

Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU), affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) since 1857, has formally requested a religious accommodation from the U.S. Department of Education from a Biden-era regulation, 34 CFR §668.14. Without timely action by the Department, the university intends to file a lawsuit seeking relief to safeguard its religious freedoms.
