The “mb125 Conference” will be at Skyline Baptist Church, Branson, June 25-28. Cost per family is $75 total for the three nights in a hotel and includes four meals. The cost rises to $100 per family after May 15. Nearly 50 families … [Read more...]

Bill Dudley and a group of his teenage friends rode in a pickup truck over to a revival tent to make fun of the people attending and making decisions that night. “I was 17, and I stopped going to church when I was twelve,” Dudley, now pastor of First Baptist Church, St. Robert, said. “So my friends and I thought it would be fun to make fun of the revival. We wanted to have a few laughs.” Dudley said it was a two-week revival in Ganter, Texas, held at the end of July through the beginning … [Read more...]

God will crawl with us
Editor’s note: The following was adapted from an email to the editor. It still exudes the raw emotion that so many felt during those disastrous days when tornadoes killed so many in Moore, Okla., and Joplin. Bunny Yekzaman’s feelings are worth sharing to not only catch a glimpse of the important ministries that Southern Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers do, but also as a reminder that God never leaves us or forsakes us. It should be noted that the quote and headline to which she refers was … [Read more...]
