HLGU Trustees hear update on construction
HANNIBAL – Trustees at Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU) here received an update on the construction of the school’s new science building during their fall meeting, Oct. 16-17. MBC wins Foundation again, Court orders it to pay MBC $5 million
JEFFERSON CITY – For the third time, before the third judge, the Missouri Baptist Foundation (MBF) has lost its effort to escape from Missouri Baptist Convention governance and accountability—and from a $5 million price-tag for its misconduct. And for the third time, the MBF is taking its loss to the court of appeals in Kansas City. JEFFERSON CITY – A state judge, backed by Attorney General Chris Koster, has ruled that part of Missouri’s constitutional amendment defining marriage as being between a man and a woman is illegal. Jackson County Circuit Judge J. Council brings controversial gay ordinance to Springfield
SPRINGFIELD – The latest front in the fight to force Christians to accept homosexuality without question or conscience is the Springfield city council.
