The Missouri Baptist Foundation is coming home to the MBC. The Missouri Supreme Court has declined to hear the Foundation’s appeal of a May 24 decision by the Missouri Court of Appeals – Western District, ordering the Foundation to return governance to board members elected by the Missouri Baptist Convention. Atheists object to Mizzou’s chaplains, prayers
COLUMBIA – Atheists with the Madison-Wis.-based Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) are renewing their objection to the University of Missouri’s football chaplaincy. FFRF initially contacted Mizzou in August of last year to complain about its chaplaincy program. The university replied that it had no intention of changing its program.
