JEFFERSON CITY – The MBC has just released The Apologist’s Tool Kit 3rd Edition, a significantly revised and expanded version of the popular resource launched in 2013 and updated in 2014 to equip Missouri Baptists to defend the Christian faith. WASHINGTON – The Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) is joining what could be this decade’s most important pro-life case to come before the U.S. Supreme Court. The MBC’s Christian Life Commission (CLC) voted, Jan. 6, to send an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court, supporting a Texas law that, if it stands, could sound the death knell for dozens of Texas abortion clinics. Missouri Baptist Convention Disaster Relief (MBC DR) teams converged on communities throughout the state in recent days to aid victims of historic flooding caused by more than 10 inches of rain over a three-day period that began the day after Christmas, leaving thousands homeless and killing at least 24 people in Missouri and Illinois. MBC Board affirms MBC’s restructure
