MBCH trustees celebrate adoptions, reunifications
BRIDGETON – Trustees for the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home met here July 23-24, combing through reports of foster children matched with permanent homes with loving families, others being reunited with their biological families and still others finding the ultimate family by accepting Christ. HANNIBAL – Hannibal-LaGrange University announced Luke Zamperini as the keynote speaker for the 77th Annual Booster Banquet. The banquet will be Nov. 9, at 7 pm. Luke Zamperini is the son of Louis Zamperini, one of World War II’s most well-known prisoners of war and hero of the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Association brings aid to HLGU during annual summer project
HANNIBAL – It is becoming like clockwork. Most Hannibal-LaGrange students leave campus during the summer, and Gasconade Valley Association comes for a week to help with projects. Pat Taylor is retiring Aug. 31, and the public is invited to a come-and-go retirement reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, in the Sells Administrative Center on the Bolivar campus.
