DR crews provide response after Hazelwood tornado

HAZELWOOD – Three weeks into the spring storm season, an April 10 tornado destroyed 12 homes and damaged another 60, prompting the first DR call-out of the year. “We’ve been busy,” said Dwain Carter, Director of Disaster Relief for the Missouri Baptist Convention. Disaster Relief Volunteers from churches around the state have assessed 92 different job sites, and completed work on 84 properties. JEFFERSON CITY – A massive tornado will devastate the Jefferson City area May 3. More precisely, a massive hypothetical tornado will devastate the Jefferson City area May 3. DR structure to make disaster response deeper

JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Baptists’ Disaster Relief (DR) response is going to be quicker and deeper according to a new structure for one the most highly visible ministries in the state.
