Springfield church choirs take the stage at Carnegie Hall with Charles Billingsley
NEW YORK CITY – In November, three Springfield churches sent their choirs to perform at Carnegie Hall In New York City with Christian artists Charles Billingsley and TaRanda Greene. MBC churches minister to Ukrainian refugees
FERGUSON – Puppets, Crafts, and games were used as tools for sharing the gospel, to the delight of children and families of a St. Louis Ukrainian refugee church plant, called Shelter Church. FBC St. Joseph shares God’s love through ThankServing food ministry
ST. JOSEPH – Pastor David Gouge of the First Baptist Church, St. Joseph, says they like to call their fall food ministry efforts “ThankServing.” They help an area food bank called Second Harvest prepare donated food to be distributed at area schools and 12 food pantries in the northwest Missouri city. In early November they had five volunteers spend a day bagging up potatoes and other groceries to be shared with people in need who receive food through the Second Harvest warehouse.
