August Gate reaches St. Louis through servanthood
ST. LOUIS – Volunteers from August Gate Church here cleaned nearly 30 alleyways in the neighborhoods surrounding their building, Oct. 26, in an attempt to transform St. Louis’ sixth ward through the gospel. OAK GROVE – First Baptist Church, Oak Grove, distributed 3,000 “Find it Here” New Testaments to their community under the leadership of Pastor Randy Messer. BGR, Mo. Baptists bring relief to Philippines
CEBU, Philippines (BP) -- Southern Baptists spent all of Monday (Nov. 18) packing relief kits for the inhabitants of Gibitngil Island in the Philippines. Typhoon Haiyan swept over the island, leaving the community battered and without easy access to relief supplies.
