JEFFERSON CITY – In a pandemic it is important to wash hands often and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer frequently. The Missouri Baptist Convention Disaster Relief (DR) ministry was the recipient of a shipment of 48 pallets of hand sanitizer from the non-profit organization Global Citizen USA, based in Chicago, Ill. Disaster survivor gives back to DR for helping
LEVASY – When Missouri River floodwaters entered Judy Oetting’s home in June 2019 she wasn’t sure what she would do. When the waters receded she and others started cleaning up the mess. Her basement was flooded as well as the first floor of her home. Mold was growing behind the walls. Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief (DR) volunteers came to her aid. Disaster Relief team supplies woman with winter firewood
EWING – One Disaster Relief team didn’t wait for a crisis to meet a need. Eight members of the Mt. Salem/Wyaconda Southern Baptist Association spent Saturday morning, Jan. 16, cutting a fallen tree, splitting logs, and removing them from a rural cow pasture to supply firewood for a needy woman.
