JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri will likely become just the third state in the United States to require a 72-hour waiting period before an abortion as a pro-life and pro-religious liberty bill make it out of the legislature in the session’s final days. (WNS) – The nation’s largest gay rights advocacy group is putting down roots in the South. Last week, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) announced it will spend $8.5 million over the next three years to set up permanent offices and staff in Alabama, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
