“And the example we need is represented by the faithfulness of my mom and dad. When times were great, they were faithful. When times were difficult, they remained faithful. Their faithfulness was never circumstantial – it was stable and consistent."

I’ve enjoyed the honor of serving in my new role for two months now, and it’s been an absolute blessing to interact with many of our pastors and leaders throughout the state.  I’m thankful for every opportunity to preach, I’ve enjoyed multiple times of meaningful fellowship, and I’m always excited to share my heart for the future of Missouri Baptists.  As I reflect on my brief time in Missouri, a few observations surface rather quickly.

How many lives are impacted through our cooperation? How many children hear the gospel? How many future pastors and ministry leaders are educated and equipped? How many faithful senior adults are cared for? How many investments are managed for future Kingdom opportunities? Due to its breadth, it’s nearly impossible to quantify the impact of our cooperative efforts. However, we can know this: we are better together.
