MBC churches minister to Ukrainian refugees

FERGUSON – Puppets, Crafts, and games were used as tools for sharing the gospel, to the delight of children and families of a St. Louis Ukrainian refugee church plant, called Shelter Church. ARNOLD – First Baptist Church of Arnold shared the love and hope of Jesus through the “Lights of Christmas,” now in its fifth year. CONWAY – Working together on a hands-on project is a key learning principle for children. Children from FBC Chillicothe raise nearly $500 for Missouri DR during VBS

CHILLICOTHE – The Vacation Bible School (VBS) held at First Baptist Church Chillicothe went beyond just studying Bible stories, the boys and girls learned how to apply what they learned through giving. Bible school for the ‘young at heart’: Baptist Homes campus in Ozark hosts senior adult VBS program

OZARK – The Ozark campus of the Baptist Homes & Healthcare Ministries has found a way to reach the young at heart among its senior residents. “We had Vacation Bible School (VBS) for our residents,” Don Swadley, VBS director, said. “We started this last year but had a much better turnout this year. In a sweeping First Amendment decision issued March 31, the United States Supreme Court removed a virtual gag on free speech which the state of Colorado had imposed on Christian counselors when talking to minors about their sexuality. The Chiles decision has immediate implications beyond Colorado—including within the state of Missouri.
