Haitian orphans get love, hope from Red Bridge, KC

KANSAS CITY – Red Bridge Baptist Church, Kansas City, owns and operates the Haiti Home of Hope for impoverished Haiti children. In January, they celebrated their 13th anniversary. But the orphanage does more than feed, clothe and educate the children. MISSOURI FLOODING: God working through wet grind in Arnold

ARNOLD — The devastation and destruction in Arnold is unbelievable according to the disaster relief volunteers.  “These homes are a complete tear out,” Arlin Hadler, disaster relief volunteer and director of the Cape Girardeau Association chainsaw recovery unit said, “the basements and the upper floors were flooded. FBC St. Charles gives Christmas gifts to kids worldwide

ST. CHARLES – FBC St. Charles is one of more than 4,000 Operation Christmas Child (OCC) drop-off locations across the US scheduled to be open Nov. 16-23. FERGUSON – Eight generations of Tino Wallenda’s family have been in the same unusual business. “For two hundred years,” Wallenda told the men’s breakfast group at FBC Ferguson, “we’ve performed in the circus as acrobats, jugglers, horseback riders, clowns and aerialists.” The family is known as the Flying Wallendas for the dangerous tightrope act performed by the group. “Applause motivated my family in all of these performances,” he said.
