Give thanks to the Lord, even when it’s hard

At MBCH, we are so thankful for our supporters all across Missouri, and maybe that is how God would have you to express your thankfulness this year by supporting one of your Missouri Baptist entities with a year-end donation.

The MBCH a ministry of Christ-centered hope

In 1 Corinthians 13:13, the apostle Paul writes, “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” Why? Why would Paul write that “the greatest of these is love”?

Give thanks to the Lord … even when it’s hard!

"The Bible makes it clear to us as followers of Christ it is our responsibility to give thanks to God in all the seasons of our lives."

Tax credits: A great way to advance the Kingdom

For years, the MBCH Children and Family Ministries (MBCH-CFM) and The LIGHT House have had access to Missouri state tax credits. ... If you’ve never tried giving to Missouri Baptist Children’s Home through a tax credit, what are you waiting for?

You can choose how your tax dollars are spent

“Would you be interested if I told you that your Missouri state tax dollars could be used to bring hope and restoration to hurting people all across our state?”

Tax credits a great way to increase your support

This is an important season for Missouri Baptist Children’s Home (MBCH). More than half of our financial support is generously donated in the last quarter of the year. This support helps us proclaim the good news of hope, healing and restoration that comes through Jesus Christ to the children, youth and families in our care.

God is faithful, let us remain faithful

One of my favorite verses in all of scripture is 2 Timothy 2:13, which says, “if we are faithless, He remains faithful – for He cannot deny Himself.” (ESV). To me this verse speaks to one of God’s most reassuring character qualities and that is His unfailing faithfulness.

Testimony: ‘God always provided!’

Christian parents must teach biblical stewardship and model Christian generosity in front of their children. Talk about giving at the dinner table, show the importance of giving to your local church and other ministries, and highlight lives that are being impacted.

Christ’s parable of the talents applied

Our Missouri State tax credits are 50% tax credits. This means that for every dollar you give to one of our qualified tax credit programs you receive fifty cents as a credit against your state taxes. For many Missouri Baptists, this allows them to give more because the increase is coming out of their state tax bill and not out of their pocket.

Change children’s lives by sending them to camp

You can provide this same life changing camp experience for children that have been abused, neglected and abandoned.  You can be a part of showing them that they have value and that this intrinsic value is fundamentally tied to the fact that God sent His Son in to the world so that they might find grace and eternal life.
