HANNIBAL (HLGU) – Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU) announces a partnership between the Souvay Memorial Library at Kenrick Glennon Seminary in St. Louis and HLGU’s Freedom on the Inside program at the Jefferson City Correctional Center. Tickets now on sale HANNIBAL (HLGU) – Tickets are now on sale for Hannibal-LaGrange University’s (HLGU) first Booster Gala, formerly known as Booster Banquet, which is expected to feature HLGU’s new president as the keynote speaker. HLGU future science teachers study monarch butterflies

HANNIBAL – Five Hannibal-LaGrange University future teachers are studying the life process of the monarch butterfly this fall. The students are in the Teaching Science course taught by Courtney Janes, assistant professor of education. Janes shared information about how the migratory monarch butterfly has been classified as, “endangered,” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. HLGU asks U.S. Department of Education for protection from unconstitutional mandate 

Hannibal-LaGrange University

Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU), affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) since 1857, has formally requested a religious accommodation from the U.S. Department of Education from a Biden-era regulation, 34 CFR §668.14. Without timely action by the Department, the university intends to file a lawsuit seeking relief to safeguard its religious freedoms.
