A trailer with purpose: Mid Lakes Baptist Association equips churches for outreach

BOLIVAR – While churches often rely on shared resources for ministry, one Southern Baptist association in southwest Missouri found a way to turn a donated travel trailer into a block party trailer—designed to help churches reach their communities. For 30th year, Gasconade Valley Association mission team helps maintain HLGU campus

HANNIBAL – For 30 years, volunteers from the Gasconade Valley Baptist Association have gathered each summer to offer their time and skills to help maintain Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU). Missouri pastor advances to Toastmasters semifinals

MOUNT VERNON – Missouri Baptist pastor Wally Long, a longtime Toastmasters member, has advanced to the semifinals of the Toastmasters International Speech Contest — a global competition drawing in speakers from over 120 countries. Pastor Long of Northside Baptist Church joined Toastmasters in May 2006 to improve his public speaking skills.
