Parkade Baptist, Columbia, hosts predominately black Baptist convention’s meeting
COLUMBIA – What happens when a predominantly white church helps a predominantly black convention hold one of its meetings? God is glorified. Parkade Baptist Church hosted the Missionary Baptist State Convention of Missouri (MBSCM), July 7-11. Parkade has several African-American members, but they are predominantly a white congregation while the MBSCM is a black ministry organization. Fifty-eight person mission team builds houses in Acuña, Mexico
ACUÑA, Mexico – Three families from different Mexican churches received newly built houses during the last week of May. Second week of Super Summer draws 685 to SBU campus BOLIVAR – During the last week of June, 685 youth, youth leaders and staff attended the second week of the Missouri Baptist Convention’s (MBC) Super Summer camp at Southwest Baptist University (SBU). Providence Baptist begins construction after building destroyed in January fire
WILLIAMSTOWN – Providence Baptist Church's new building is under construction, after its previous building was destroyed in a fire here, Jan. 4.
