Forty-one people find faith in Christ during Lifepointe, Sedalia, tent revival
SEDALIA – A four-day tent revival north of Sedalia brought people to Christ and some were baptized at the event. Lifepointe Church pastor Rusty Thomas reported 41 salvations, 31 baptisms, and three child dedications. From July 12-15, there were a total of 253 people in the children’s tent, 3,199 people in the main tent, and 10,639 people who followed the tent revival on Facebook. Missouri DR mass care feeding unit surprises Ewing residents with meals
EWING – A fresh, hot meal was a welcome surprise to area residents attending a monthly food box distribution, June 22. For about two years, The Mt. Salem/Wyaconda Southern Baptist Association Disaster Relief team has assisted Hester Community Church in rural Ewing with the monthly provided groceries at the church’s community center in Ewing in an ecumenical event open to anyone. LEWISTOWN – A prayer service for rain drew approximately 60 people to the Lewis County Fairgrounds in northeast Missouri on June 8. Disaster Relief crews minister after tornado
LINNEUS – Significant damage was caused by a tornado that hit in the night of May 6, and Missouri Disaster Relief (MODR) crews responded. John Mohler of Bethany, who headed the MODR incident command, said city officials of the Linn County town of less than 300 people felt 90 percent of the properties were affected.
