More than 1,300 spiritual decisions made at Louisiana youth crusade

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. – The Denham Springs High School football stadium became a house of God during the Livingston Parish GO TELL AMERICA Crusade, March 16-19. By the end of the four-day crusade, including all related outside events, 1,316 persons had made decisions for Christ, with 602 individuals stepping forward to accept Christ, according to Chris Palmer, GO TELL director of ministry outreach. Louisiana Baptists praying for ‘huge’ Gospel impact during SBC annual meeting

NEW ORLEANS (BP) – Louisiana Baptists say prayer is key to a pair of evangelistic efforts preceding the 2023 Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for June 13-14 in New Orleans. RUSTON, La. (BP) – Wearing a shower cap only moments from entering the baptismal waters, Ophelia White was beaming with excitement. Cultivating wisdom in a post-Christian culture

As American Christians in the 21st century, we have already fought many battles over political and cultural issues in the first quarter of this century. These battles have borne real fruit for the cause of Christ and the common good—whether the overturning of Roe v. Wade or the ongoing protection of religious liberty. Contrary to the doom some people have predicted, our nation has seen significant progress. That said, Christians must still engage the public square with confidence and discernment in Christ.
