Cuba continues crackdown on religion five years after public protests, report says

In persistent religious persecution following public protests five years ago, Cuba is cracking down especially on church-sponsored humanitarian aid and prayer, a watchdog group said in a new report.

That is the purpose behind the Route 66 Prayer Tour.

Since 2014, the Missouri Baptist Collegiate Disaster Relief (MODR) internship program has provided training to a group of college students who have signed up to spend their summer helping others. However, the goal of this training goes beyond learning how to meet physical needs, but spiritual needs, as well.

One Great Day!

Each October, we gather at the annual meeting of the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) to enjoy fellowship, hear reports, listen to sermons, worship, and conduct business. This year, we’ll be together in St. Charles (Oct. 26-27), and based on who will be preaching and leading in worship, I can assure you it will be a wonderful couple of days!  Does that pique your interest?

Priceless: MBC efforts to reach college students

College campuses may be quiet this summer, but Missouri Baptist college students have been active around the state. This summer, the Missouri Baptist Convention’s (MBC) college ministry commissioned 67 college-aged summer missionaries to serve in various ministries around the state. And this number doesn’t include the additional college students serving with the Resound Network, Sports Crusaders, Missouri Disaster Relief and Redemption Ranch—bringing the total to nearly 100 college students serving around the state this summer.
