Ukraine Baptist seminary graduates largest class in history amid lingering war

With the war in its fourth year, Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary has long resumed its educational outreach, graduating a class of 700 students in June, the largest in its 25-year history, President Yaroslav Pyzh said in a video. UBTS awarded 171 undergraduate level degrees, 30 graduate level degrees, and 388 certificates, he told Baptist Press, with remaining graduates receiving certificates from the Institute of Leadership and Coaching.

Bellevue Baptist Church search committee announces Lifeway’s Mandrell as pastor candidate

The pastor search committee at Bellevue Baptist Church has unanimously recommended that Ben Mandrell, CEO of Lifeway Christian Resources become the church’s next senior pastor. Mandrell will preach in view of a call on July 13. The congregation will vote on the committee’s choice after a 10 a.m. service.
