Ministry Wives Network launches 2025 teaching cohort, webinars

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Baptist Convention’s Ministry Wives Network (MWN) this year is launching a teaching cohort, as well as webinars that will discuss topics requested by ministry wives.

The 2025 teaching cohort will take place online on Feb. 4, 11, and 18, and it will end with an in-person meeting on Feb. 28. Ministry wives can register for the cohort or learn more at https://mbcministrywives.org/cohorts/. The registration cost for the cohort is $20 per person.

The 2025 live webinars will be featured online on Jan. 24, April 11, June 20, and Sept. 20. The MWN website has already announced further details about the Jan. 24 and April 11 webinars, as described below:

  • Jan 24 webinar – “Mental Health Matters: Join Adrianna Anderson, Stephanie Tanner, Patty Culbertson, and Lyndsay Cullum as we discuss issues of Mental Health for Ministry Wives and Women in Ministry.” The registration deadline for this webinar is Jan. 22.
  • April 11 webinar – “Mentoring & Discipleship: Join Adrianna Anderson, Dr. Leslie Ulmstatt, Yvonne Hansen, Cynthia Walker, and Dana Young as we discuss mentoring and discipleship for women in the Church.” According to the website, registration for this webinar has not yet opened, but it is expected to open soon. The registration deadline is April 9.

The Chloe Cole Act of 2026, named for the advocate Chloe Cole who has publicly shared about the horrors of being pushed into “transitioning” in her early teens, prohibits gender transition procedures for minors through regulating interstate commerce. Tichenor brings academic, philosophical perspectives to MBC apologetics network

Vincent Tichenor, the newest member of the Missouri Baptist Apologetics Network (MBAN), is a medical doctor with a family practice in Walnut Shade. He also works urgent care in addition to running his own practice. He brings the perspective of medical science to the defense of the Christian faith, alongside the varied expertise of his 23 fellow apologists.
