Part of International Mission Board missionary and nurse practitioner Rachel’s ministry in a rural area of Southeast Asia is educating elementary school girls on their health. These girls are often forced by their families to drop out of school by the sixth grade in order to help provide income.
For the past three years, the First Baptist Church of Trenton, Mo., has sent a mission team of roughly 20 people to partner with Rock of Hope Church in Wisconsin Dells, Wisc. The Missouri church returned to the area this summer.
