Mohler tells MBC messengers, ‘Culture changes, the gospel does not’

In an exclusive interview following his address to Missouri Baptist messengers, Oct. 27, Southern Seminary President R. Albert Mohler Jr. also warned that increased secularization in the culture is ultimately unhelpful for evangelistic efforts. But regaining a “Christianity-informed conscience” will lead not only to general blessing, but also to more evangelistic receptiveness in the broader culture.

Messengers to the Missouri Baptist Convention annual meeting, Oct. 26-27, approved a new seven-year missions partnership with the Montana Southern Baptist Convention.  The missions partnership with the Minnesota-Wisconsin Baptist Convention will continue for another five years.
