Four pastors to be nominated as officers during MBC annual meeting

It has been announced that four pastors will be nominated to serve as Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) officers during the MBC annual meeting here, Oct. 26-27. At press time, still no nominations for recording secretary had been announced.

Annie Armstrong offering falls $20 million short of goal

Southern Baptists gave a total of $49.3 million to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO), the North American Mission Board announced, Oct. 5. The amount was $20 million short of the $70 million goal and fell below last year’s total of $61.4 million, perhaps because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Baptist Home to partner with Walgreens, CVS to provide COVID-19 vaccinations

The Baptist Home plans to take part in a pharmacy partnership program that will make COVID-19 vaccines available to residents and staff members with no out-of-pocket costs. The announcement came soon after Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services commended The Baptist Home for their response to outbreaks in Chillicothe and Ozark.
