According to MBC bylaws, resolutions for the MBC Annual Meeting must be submitted in writing to the Committee on Resolutions at least 60 days prior to the first session of the annual meeting. The deadline is Aug. 28.

The churches, Segovia said, “were greatly encouraged. They would love for us to come back.” Indeed, Segovia is planning another trip in August – this time, not simply to serve and deepen relationships with the congregations, but also to train them for Kingdom growth. “They don’t just want to do evangelism,” he said. “They want to start new churches.”

Missouri mission team helps premature babies in Uganda

Teri Broeker, Missouri Baptist Convention Preschool/Children/Student Missions/WMU representative; husband Kevin; and teenagers Kayla Moore, 16, and Tara Toops, 17, aided former Durham pastor and wife Josh and Kimbre Thrower who are SBC missionaries in Kampala, Uganda. The Broeker’s and Moore, 16, are Durham First members. Toops, 17, belongs to Southern Baptist Fellowship in Wayland.
