Arson is suspected in a recent fire that destroyed a 25-foot-section of the worship center inside Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Warsaw, resulting in an estimated $50,000 worth of damage.
“The hearings are important to illustrate the intense emotional collision of competing worldviews among politicians, lawyers and regular citizens who care about constitutional rights,” said Mike Whitehead, general counsel for the Missouri Baptist Convention and co-counsel in several cases that have gone before the Supreme Court.
Citizens must be registered to vote (or change their address if they have moved since the last time they voted) by Oct. 10 in order to vote in the Nov. 6 general election.
