JEFFERSON CITY – Early Bird registration is now being accepted for the Missouri Woman’s Missionary Union (MWMU) Missions Celebration annual meeting, themed this year, “By All Means.” The exciting two-day experience will be held April 7-8, 2017, at First Baptist Church (FBC) in Lebanon, and will include special workshops, praise and worship music and engaging speakers, all designed to renew your spirit and ignite your passion for missions.

The cost for registration before March 24 is $30/person and can only be completed online at www.mobaptist.org/wmu/missions-celebration. Details on a variety of registration options and costs are also available at the website.

“Our Missions Celebration annual meeting is one of the most rewarding events offered to mission-minded believers in Missouri,” Cherri Crump, President of MWMU said. “The agenda this year is exceptional, with valuable training, insightful information and uplifting experiences for everyone, including students grades 7 to college.”

Guest speakers at the meeting will include National WMU President Linda Cooper, who will provide theme interpretations, and a variety of missionaries from IMB and NAMB sharing inspirational testimonies. Music throughout the event will be led by Steve Mino and FBC worship team of Lebanon.

The meeting will open at 7:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, with registration, followed by a silent auction and missions and ministry projects in the local community of Lebanon. Pre-session breakouts will also be offered early Friday morning, followed by worship celebration activities from12:45 p.m.-9:15 p.m.

Saturday’s agenda will be as equally comprehensive, with registration beginning at 7:45 a.m., with celebration activities ending at approximately 12:45 p.m. More information and a tentative schedule are available at the website.

Free childcare will be offered during the meeting by Angie Hurd, Missouri Disaster Relief Childcare Coordinator. Contact Hurd to reserve a place for your children at abhurd@swbell.net or call her at 314-540-2983. All childcare workers are background checked and certified.
