ST. LOUIS (BP) – Alumni and friends of Southern Baptists’ six seminaries will gather, June 15, in St. Louis to hear updates from the campuses and renew friendships with classmates and seminary faculty and staff.
The noontime luncheons will be held in conjunction with the June 14-15 annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention in America’s Center in St. Louis.
Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary’s luncheon will be highlighted by an update from the Kansas City campus by President Jason Allen. It also will feature a presentation titled “God, Gender, and the Gospel: True Answers to Tough Questions.” In partnership with the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, the luncheon panel discussion, featuring Allen, Owen Strachan and others, will tackle the toughest issues on the topics of gender, sexuality and ethics.
