HLGU named to America’s Best Christian Colleges

HANNIBAL – Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU) was named one of America’s Best Christian Colleges for the twelfth consecutive year by the Institutional Research & Evaluation, Inc.  HLGU is one of only four higher education institutions in Missouri named as one of America’s Best Christian Colleges. Over 1,000 colleges and universities nationwide were analyzed in consideration for these honors.

HLGU was named America’s Best Christian College on the basis of documented environment of Christian influence, grade point average of incoming freshmen as well as the ACT/SAT scores of incoming freshmen. This is the twelfth consecutive year that Hannibal-LaGrange University has received this honor and scored well above the national average.

Hannibal-LaGrange University has also been listed in the top 50 Christian Colleges according to BestColleges.com. HLGU ranked as number three in the nation for Southern Baptist affiliated colleges, and number 46 in the nation for Christian colleges over all.
